During my time in Lisbon my passion of bike travelling, mountainbiking and bike building step by step took over always bigger parts of my life. Since I moved out of my 7th floor flat in Lisbon and mooved to a smoover place in the suburbs next to Serra de Sintra my flat finally turned into a bike station + kitchen & bed.
Of course the main time I invest here is to mantain my own bikes. But meanwhile I also had the opportunity to build up a few travelling bikes, which currently touring the world on different continents. Since 2014 I join a network to share budget bikes with visitors. I hosted and offered lukewarm showers to dozens of touring bikers and fixed bikes almost every week.
In winter 2015 I started a new project with is still in prototype phase: bike panniers. After some some try and error versions in June 2016 the first two pairs will go on the log term test from Portugal to the Netherlands and Germany.
